The proud owner of ” Come Dine With You” has over 25 years experience being a chef working with some of the best chefs in the UK, Marco Pierre White, Gary Rhodes, Steven Bull and Richard Neat to name a few.
Through the years Ian achieved restaurant of the year in North London and Essex. He was also in the Michelin rated food guide twice! With all his experience as a chef he decided to give back and start teaching with over 7 year experience working throughout London and Essex colleges.
He’s done work for Video Jug, Lurpack commercials and Essex Food Festival 2013. He finds the time to also work with charities like Home Start teaching children how to cook and eat healthy food. As well as working with the Welcome Project by teaching the rehabilitated how to cook healthy food on a budget.
Michelin Star Chef
Jack was born and raised in Suffolk, his fire and passion for cooking started in his early teenage years, as his passion grew, he had his eyes set on London gaining the opportunity to work for restaurants such as The Ivy. After a stint in Edinburgh at Come Dine with You he set his sights on working for the Galvin brothers to refine his skills in 2009.
As part of the opening team at la Chappelle Jack won a Michelin star, AA restaurant of the year, tattler restaurant of the year and 8 other awards in its first year!!
In 2012 jack was promoted to head chef of Cafe a Vin where he has dedicated his last three years to creating simple honest food with great flavours. Cafe a Vin currently holds 2 rosettes and a Michelin bib gourmand.
Classic Contemporary Chef
Paul has over 25 years of working in professional kitchens all over London and for the last 7 years at Milsoms Group of Hotels at their flag ship fine dining restaurant Le Talbooth on the Essex/Suffolk borders. He has worked as a pastry chef for the last 18 years and has a classic contemporary style of cooking.
Paul has learnt lots of styles and techniques from chefs like Brian Turner, Jean Christophe Novelli, Bruno Lobet and that’s just a few to name and enjoys developing new dishes with traditional flavours.
Over the years Paul has worked in different styles of restaurants and hotels from Le Talbooth and The Goring to really busy restaurants like Atlantic Bar and Grill with Oliver Peyton and Bulters Wharf Chop House (Sir Terence Conran) to even premiership football clubs with 4 star hotel, Millennium Copthorne.
French Cuisine Specialist
Matthew is a classically trained chef specialising in French cuisine. Matthew has worked with Michelin starred chefs at a number of establishments including The Savoy in London and Daniel Clifford at Midsummer House, Cambridge.
Matthew is head chef at the newly refurbished Leather Bottle in Pleshey creating innovative menus for their busy restaurant.
